You get 5 very full days of training with Clive Featherby (and other fireworks and event management professionals) who has more than 30 years of fireworks and special effects experience. We don't know of any other course that offers that kind of experience-based training. Plus you get a generous allocation of fireworks (valued at over $1200 at KC's Fireworks pricing) for practical training and the "Festival of Fire" practical show night, plus an extensive 190 page A4 course manual, plus other books and materials needed for the course.
What do I need to bring to the course?
Is this an accredited course?
Yes, this is an accredited course in Queensland and the course level is a Cert IV level.
Do I get a job after the course?
The course teaches you how to operate as a professional fireworks operator in the fireworks industry. On completion of the course, you are then qualified to apply to the Dept of Mines & Energy for a fireworks display operator's licence
and work as a licensed fireworks operator within the fireworks industry.
Please note: When applying to the Department of Mines & Energy for your licence, conditions apply such as a medical and police clearance.

operator is a highly skilled profession with many employment opportunities in Qld and across Australia, as there are hundreds of fireworks displays conducted every year in every State.
